Spark pocket knife is the second product from Spark, an EDC startup based in Yangjiang, China. Spark started the conversation with me around support for brand language, strategic planning and product line up. We noticed an overlap between EDC toy customers and beginner pocket knife customers, and our close collaboration led to a unique product format that combines a pocket knife with a magnetic fidget slider. With built-in magnets, this pocket knife serves as a modular platform with endless potential for swapping future accessories.
