Environmental Friendly Dissolvable Soy Sauce Packaging

Tokeru is a packaging concept designed in response to a brief for ABC documentary War On Waste. It eliminates the need for the traditional, environmentally unfriendly soy sauce fish by offering a more sustainable solution. Instead, the soy sauce powder is packaged in an edible gelatin bioplastic pouch. When consumers add water into the pouch compartment, the water-soluble gelatin bioplastic pouch will dissolve with the soy sauce powder into liquid soy sauce. On the other hand, consumers can also enjoy the soy sauce powder as a dry spice. The packaging design allows consumers to enjoy the soy sauce in two different ways - as a liquid sauce or as a dry spice. To dissolve the pouch, consumers simply add water into the compartment, and the gelatin bioplastic pouch will dissolve with the soy sauce powder, transforming it into a delicious, liquid soy sauce.
